So good ~ we have 4!
By FargoMama
We purchased our original Alpha Omega 5 years ago when we moved our primary daughter from an infant seat. We in truth bouth an Evenflo Triumph for her first, but that seat was a disaster. The straps were totally unlikely to loosen. After that we did more reseach and came upon the Alpha Omega.
The things that I like best with regards to the Alpha Omega:
*works for kids from 5 pounds to 80 pounds (although I never used it for an infant)
*the straps are super easy to tighten AND loosen (very essential for fitting over bulky winter clothes!)
*adjusting the shoulder height of the straps is very fast AND does not require re-threading them!
*the straps may be got rid of and the seat may be applied as a high-back booster
*reclining the seat (for rear-facing) is very easy
*it has a nice amount of padding
We have three girls 1, 4, and 6 and we could use it for all of them, even though we have moved the oldest into a plain booster. We likewise have 7 nephews and after seeing how happy we have been with these seats, everyone purchased the same seat!

So some better seats out on the market than this!
By M. Allen
We purchased this seat for my daughter long before I knew much of anything regarding car seats. What without delay caught my eye was that it looked to be an all-in-one seat and we’d never need a new seat again. Also, the price seemed like a outstanding deal equated to other seats that were hundreds of dollars. I did not in truth compensate attention to the weight limits on the seat at the time because I didn’t know any better.
The worst share in regards to this seat is that it advertises to be a 3-in-1 when it’s in truth not. This seat will expire before you SHOULD use it as a booster. Also, it’s not commended by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and is considered a VERY poor fitting booster.
It only rear faces to 35 lbs. You want a seat that rear facing to 40 or more lbs to keep your child as safe as possible. It only forward faces to 40 lbs which is ridiculous. Most newer seats are 65+ lbs. Most 40 lb kids are not mature sufficient to use a booster.
It’s giant. Like huge. And a pain to install. I installed it in a heap of vehicles and HATED doing it. Even with LATCH.
The straps constantly twisted and I ordered alternate harnesses twice. It has had a lot of recalls over the past various years.
This is a decent convertible seat if you have a littler child, but I would never commend it for an intermediate to larger child in a 5 point harness and surely never as a booster seat!
Some good number of things from which only one can be chosen would be the Evenflo Momentum/Symphony/Triump 65 series, any Britax 70 convertible, Graco My Ride 65, Radian XTSL, shoot even a Cosco Scenera 40RF.

Awesome! Just purchased Number 2
By MommaJo
This is by far a great carseat. I purchased one in 2008 for my oldest daughter and put her forward facing at 10 months. The recline on it is terrifi because she could nap on long trips without her head falling forward. I just purchased one for my 8 month daughter to use rear facing until she is bigger. I like the removeable cushions and my oldest loves her own cup holder and armrests. Her seat is going on 4 years old and is showing very little wear. I will be competent to put it in my husband’s truck when she moves to a booster seat this fall and not have to switch out carseats anymore for the little one. For the price, you can’t beat this product.
