Great Concept but….

I have a few drawers that are in tight spaces and necessitated something flexible and adaptable to secure them. I LOVED these locks for the introductory month or so, they worked perfectly. But now my 2 year old son may grab the anchored part or the strap and pull it right off the cabinet. So either the adhesive has relaxed over time or my son is a little strong-man in training I still use them as a primary line of defense because they only give way when my son pulls directly on the lock itself and not when he tries to open the drawer like normal. Kind of like a speedbump

Love these straps!

I purchased a few packs of these straps for keeping little hands out of kitchen drawers and cabinets. With an open floor plan, we couldn’t gate our kitchen. So these straps were placed on all our drawers and cabinets and they work great. Make sure to clean the area well before applying and do it at night so they may stick without being interrupted for assorted hours.

Stays on (usually) if your kid doesn’t actually care with regards to getting in, other than as supposed or expected it’s worthless

We purchased 2 2-packs of these. Of the 4, 1 of them didn’t stick the right way when we put it on, and 2 of them were pulled off within weeks by a 1 year old and 2 year old. The fourth has stayed, but it is on a drawer the kids don’t actually care with regards to getting into that much. These are NOT commended if you actually need to keep kids out of something.
