Muslin is great – terry is not.

I love the muslin washcloth and the swaddle blankets but the terry hooded towel is disappointing as it pills, shrinks all weird and is not soft.

The Best Towel and Washcloth Set

I wish I had found this set when our son was born. These washcloths are fantastic. They are more prominent than a typical washcloth for infants and toddlers, and are nice and soft. Perfect for children. And the towel is fantastic. I think this is now my go to present for new parents. I can’t tell you how great it is to have a towel and washcloth that are of good quality, soft material and are a decent size.

Nothing Special

I purchased this not long ago for my newborn. The towel constantly has fuzzies on it that stick to her when we arid off after the bath. It’s not soft, even after various washes. It is thick I guess and absorbant, but surely not luxuriously soft. The washcloth is too huge for a newborn, but we’ll see how that works when she’s older.
